Joyce L. Gioia, CSP, CMC, FIMC [ joy-yah] is focused on delivering value to her clients as a Best-Selling Author, Certified Management Consultant, Celebrity Futurist, Global Thought Leader, Professional Speaker, and TV Personality.

Born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, she started her first business at the age of 14, Jack & Jill Parties for Children. At the age of 28, Joyce was the youngest national magazine publisher in the world for The Complete Buyers Guide to Stereo/Hi-Fi Equipment. Her diverse background includes Wholesale, Retail, Direct Marketing, Consumer Electronics, Marketing and Advertising, and Human Resources. Joyce brings to the table all of her wisdom and knowledge about what works, what doesn’t, and why.

Joyce delivered her first TED Talk at TEDx Hastings Street in Napier, New Zealand. Titled “Creating a Culture of Caring,” the well-received presentation started with the origin of caring and proceeded through life and into the workplace. Joyce has appeared on local and national television over 70 times in the US, New Zealand, and Ghana, talking about the future, travel tips, and her unique perspectives. Her new TV show, “It’s Your Future with Joyce Gioia,” appears on the Futures Television Channel of Apple and Roku.tv. Her Futures Shorts appear weekly on YouTube.com, as well as FuturesRadio.com. 

Her latest and first solo book is Experience Rules: How Positive Experiences Will Drive Profit Into The Future (Indie Books, 2023). Her other published works include Impending Crisis: Too Many Jobs, Too Few People (Oakhill Press, 2003), How to Become an Employer of Choice(Oakhill Press, 2000), Lean & Meaningful: A New Culture for Corporate America (Oakhill Press, 1998)---all business bestsellers---How to Choose your Next Employer (Oakhill Press, 2001), and Workforce Stability: Your Competitive Edge (Oakhill Press, 2000).

Along the way, Joyce has received many honors. In FORBES, she was named one of the top women futurists in the world. At the Harvard Business Expert Forum, she received the Celebrity Futurist Award. And USA TODAY named her their First (and only) Road Warrior of the Year. Joyce also received a Silver Folio award for her work with Chocolatier Magazine. In 2020, Joyce was inducted into The Consulting Hall of Fame.

In addition, Joyce has written hundreds of articles for trade publications, authored numerous white papers for clients, and every year, issues her Annual Workforce-Workplace Forecast, detailing the coming issues that Human Resources and C-Level Executives need to heed to optimize their success in the future.
